The tour begins at Mission Hills Haikou on Hainan Island which is situated to the south of mainland China and is on the same latitude as Hawaii.  There are two major cities, the capital Haikou on the north coast, and Sanya, which is a thriving tourist area on the beautiful southern coast.

 

Mission Hills Haikou is the Mission Hills group's latest 10-course resort opening in 2011.

At Haikou, you’ll check in to the luxurious 5-Star Mission Hills Haikou resort for 4 nights of sheer bliss and pampering while being surrounded by 10 magnificent golf courses.

 

Your first game at Haikou is at The Vintage, a top-rated course that is simply a pleasure to play.

 

For your second game, you will experience the top-rated championship layout of Lava Fields, renowned as one of China’s finest.

 

The last course you will play is Black Stone (Ranked #16 in Asia), which held the 57th World Cup of Golf in 2013 and is currently home to the OMEGA Championships

 

From Haikou, you will depart by private luxury coach to the Shenzhou Peninsula. Your accommodation is at the stunning 5-Star Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula Resort, the Sheraton located in Wanning on Hainan’s east coast.

 

Overlooking the sea and set amid an integrated community, the resort boasts eight kilometres of white sand beaches and relaxing coves. You’ll spend 4 nights here, and experience playing both courses on the stunning 36 holes The Shenzhou Peninsula Dunes Golf Club (Ranked #4 in Asia).

 

These two links style courses wind their way along parts of the South China Sea offering spectacular holes touching the exquisite beaches and bays. Designed by legendary Tom Weiskopf and his associate Phil Smith, they set out to create 36 holes memorable for their bunkering, contoured fairways, rugged expansive native sand and exquisite ocean views.
